Fresh, unique cuisine served with a smile.

We were greated by the Chef upon arrival. The food was fresh and amazing. The wine pairing was perfect. This was the best restaurant we dined at in Italy. The service was prompt and friendly. The chefs passion for creating unique dishes and serving them with a smile was refreshing. You can tell that the chef loves her job, her attitude was infectious. Don't forget to get the tirramisu!

A hidden gem near the Vatican, this restaurant offers delicious, freshly made seafood dishes. Run by a friendly chef-owner and her partner, the service is personal and exceptional. Highly recommend for a special dining experience!

After a long day exploring the Vatican City and ending the night with the most delicious meal I have ever had in a long time. Tocco Ferro has an amazing atmosphere with great service and all worth the money. You can taste the flavor in every bite and the wine recommendation was a lovely touch. This has been the first review made since in Italy which says a lot. If you ever find yourself in Rome, please make Tocco Ferro a must visit for dinner!

Lovingly crafted and legitimately inspired dishes and great service. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in all of Italy. This is one not to miss!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I came here with my brother. We were greeted with warmth and kindness. The service was amazing. And the food was prepared to absolute perfection. The shrimps with vermicelli were absolutely to die for. Crunchy on the outside, ridiculously perfect on the inside. I had the gnocchi with pesto (both homemade) and sea bream. My brother had tagliatelle with tomatoes, garlic and shrimps. We’ve both had this particular meal hundreds of times but never done so perfectly balanced and aromatic. An absolutely amazing experience all round. Can’t wait to return.

Assolutamente eccezionale. Cibo freschissimo e presentato in composizioni assolutamente raffinatissime! Ho mangiato il carpaccio di orata più buono che abbia mai assaggiato. Personale gentilissimo e attentissimo alle nostre esigenze! Assolutamente da raccomandare!

Ieri sera stavo passeggiando per via Candia e siamo andati a vedere su Tripadvisor quali ristoranti erano vicini a noi, ho trovato Toccoferro, un ristorante veramente eccezzionale, il cibo di ottima qualità servizio molto alla mano simpatici e sorridenti, ambiente molto curato e molto storico essendo al centro di Roma,i gamberi in kataifi con maionese aggrumata e cous cous erano favolosi e gnocco pesto orata e pachino speciale…. Vi consiglio vivamente questo ristorante Ci torneremo presto!!!

Personal attention and unique cuisine

If you want excellent, original food with personal service and care, this is the place. Amber, the owner, immediately greeted us and showed us some fresh mushrooms, which we then had as a grilled antipasti. They were awesome. We ordered pork cheek with asparagus pasta, shrimp pasta, gnocchi with fish sauce and potato-encrusted sea bream. All were excellent as were the desserts. Best restaurant experience in Rome by far. Make the effort to go!

We have been to Italy 3 times and this was one of our best restaurant experiences and definitely our best one in Rome. Amber, the owner, immediately greeted us and brought out a box of mushrooms to show us what we could add to our menu. The grilled mushroom antipasti was absolutely awesome as were our primi and secondi. The dishes were a creative take on traditional pasta dishes. My daughter had homemade fettuccine with shrimp and cream sauce, and my wife had pasta with pork cheek and asparagus. So good! Desserts were fantastic as well and we could not have had friendlier or more attentive service. Please go here if you come to Roma!!

Me and my husband had the most terrific dinner here, the chef is so nice and talented. The food was delicious and definitely a must restaurant to visit in Roma. fantastic Italian cuisine ❤️

Era meglio cenare a casa..

Onestamente non so da dove provengano le altre recensioni ma posso dire che ho mangiato malissimo e pagato non in modo adeguato. Ho trovato le materie prime scadenti e l esecuzione dei piatti molto pasticciata anche se il menù risulta composto di piatti semplici.Ambiente da rivedere come i bagni, servizio in linea con il cibo e rapporto qualità prezzo totalmente folle. Non lo consiglio e non ci tornerò.

Assolutamente da provare!

Antipasto primo e secondo tutto buonissimo. Personale tutti simpaticissimi e bravissimi. Una tappa che direi obbligatoria ogni volta che si passa per Roma. Stupendi!

Amazing food, very kind and profesional service, energized chef who apparently loved her job. I recommend strongly. We trusted recommended starters and the special of the day, IT was worth it.

Assolutamente da rifare

Domenica, ore 15. Passeggiando dopo vari no, cerchiamo su maps ristorante e, dato il nome simpatico, chiamiamo. La gentilezza si notava già dal telefono. Per il resto che dire professionalità, competenza e cibi di ottima qualità. Se al prossimo viaggio a roma passeremo da quelle zone, una capatina è assicurata

Such a great choice for my first time in Rome! Ambra and Alessio has been so good, welcome and friendly! And I’m not saying that easy 😉 The food was unbelievable, so tasty and you can say that the owners pay attention on that. I appreciate the honesty l, especially when had to do about food. Amber’s recommendations was great. I really enjoyed my starter and my main, and I finished both! When I will be back to Rome, definitely I will come back! I definitely recommend this place for those who appreciate the good food and the original people ☺️
