Slow food experience

We were pleasantly surprised by a personal approach and food the first time that we came back the very next evening to celebrate our son’s birthday—which also happened to be Redentore night, featuring a beautifully curated slow food menu. .Not only did we get to taste authentic Venetian cuisine, but we also learned about its roots through the care and passion Rosa and her mum poured into every dish. The flavors were fresh and diverse. We left feeling happy and grateful—and we would wholeheartedly recommend her restaurant to anyone visiting Venice. With Rosa’s expertise and her mum’s award-winning tiramisu, you’re in for a treat.

Hervorragender Service, erstklassiges Essen. Ein toller Koch, der an den Tisch kommt und seine Rohstoffe präsentiert. Wie sind mit 14 Personen unangekündigt an einem Montag Abend aufgeschlagen und haben ein erstklassiges Menü präsentiert bekommen… Die Bedienung spricht perfekt Englisch!

Truly Special

Rosa’s is different. It’s not just a place to get great food (which of course you can). It is a place where you are an honored guest. From first arrival you are greeted with warmth and friendliness. Attentive and trained staff see to your seating, your table settings, and your needs with intentionality and care. From the way they reach, and move around the table you can tell they are there to serve you and make the meal more than just the food. We ate here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Brunch started with the outdoor seating in the beautiful patio space. Playful place settings created conversation as both Rosa and Angela greeted us with smiles and laughter. The brunch menu is simple with classics like waffles, pancakes, savory ravioli, bread assortments among other great dishes. The quality of the ingredients, and the preparation is clear from the first bite as even these simple dishes are the best versions you’ve ever had. It’s light and fun. For the evening meal we chose inside seating. We got to see the simple and thoughtful design of the dining room. A pastel color scheme with clean lines and good lighting. Table service was on par with high end restaurants with sparkling flatware, and elegant tableware. The menu is elevated with flavor combinations that are unique and complex. With some simple inputs (white/red, sweet/dry, etc) from us, Angela selected perfect wines for our pallet that also paired with our dish selection. She also took the time to explain each dish, the preparation, the ingredients, and the flavor profiles to help us prepare for consumption. As with brunch the quality of the ingredients was immediately clear, and the preparation was perfect. While all of the above is on par with high quality restaurants, there was a distinct difference. One of our party chose a dish that was a bit of a risk for them. As sometimes comes with risk that person did not connect to the dish. I sampled the dish and again the preparation and flavors were outstanding, and I truly enjoyed it, but each persons pallet is different. Even though not the fault of the chef or the restaurant Angels insisted on getting that person a new dish. The replacement dish was perfect for that person and they enjoyed it. As you can imagine there was a bit of awkwardness as everyone felt responsible for the miss. Not long after the replacement dish came out, the chef Simone came out as well. He was gracious and kind to our party and told us how he continues to learn more about his pallet as he takes similar risks. He had every right to stand by his dish, but instead put the honored guest at ease with his words. That is why Rosas is different. If you’re looking for a place with great food you’ll definitely find it here, but if you want to find good people in a warm and welcoming place where you can truly enjoy your meal, I’d hurry there. I would also get there soon. With the quality of the food and the experience I suspect it won’t be long before getting a reservation may not be easy.

Ein neues Genusserlebnis am Lido

Wir waren das erste Mal bei Rosa‘s und sind total von der Frische der Speisen, dem Geschmackserlebnis und der herzlichen Art des Teams begeistert. Alles von Hand gemacht und je nachdem was es an Zutaten gerade frisch zum Kaufen gibt, habe die Gerichte zusätzlich einen experimentellen Touch. Zu unserer großen Freude bekamen wir auch Naturwein, den es sonst am Lido nirgends gibt. Rosa‘s wird ab nun ein Fixpunkt bei unseren Aufenthalten am Lido sein <3 Wir gratulieren dem äußerst freundlichen und engagierten Team!

Wonderful Place

Absolutely loved our visit to Rosa’s Brunch and Dinner! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Rosa and Angela, the owner and her daughter. She was incredibly sweet and kind, and you could instantly tell how much pride she takes in her place. The service was fast, the food came out quickly, and everything we ordered was delicious. You can really taste the love and care in every bite. Rosa went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable — it felt like being treated like family. Definitely a 5-star experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Momento in paradiso

Sono stato in questo ristorante per consiglio di amici e devo dire che mi sono trovato veramente bene! Angela, la manager, mi ha consigliato accompagnandomi alla scelta del menu brunch con avocado toast al salmone e french toast guarnito con frutti di bosco. La materia prima veramente fresca e di qualità. La spremuta d'arance fresca e il caffè mi hanno dato l'energia per iniziare al meglio la giornata. Servizio impeccabile e veloce fanno di questo locale un punto di riferimento per chi vuole godersi un momento di benessere. Ci tornerò sicuramente anche per provare la cena😋
