Francesco was the best host fantastic food and really quick and reasonable priced loved it. Warm atmosphere and would always return when in Rome!

Perfect classic typical restaurant. I felt like I was eating dishes peeper by grandmother, and in a good way. Food delicious, bread tasty, wine chilled, prices reasonable. A gem in touristy crowded Rome.

Went to this restaurant near our accomodation, had great food and well priced, good service and would recommend this restaurant highly.

Elke keer ik Rome bezoek ga ik er eten. Nieuwjaar ’24 was top en gisteren nog eens prima gegeten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en een authentiek kader, ik blijf fan!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Incredible food and incredible atmosphere. Service was a little slow and they forgot to bring my wine, which is why I gave that part four stars, but still an excellent, excellent stop on our trip to Rome. Highly recommend stopping here. The cacio e Pepe was great and so was the tiramisu.

La verdad que no puedo decir más que qué maravilla de lugar, desde nuestro hotel nos invitaron a cenar allí y hicimos bien en aceptar la invitación ya que tanto la comida como el servicio fue maravilloso.

Super loving this restaurant. Tons of locals go there for food, you know it is excellent then. Love everything they offer. Owner is very good looking, kind and honest. We were the only foreigners dining there during the late lunch, the service we received was fantastic! Owner is so nice and gave us some Italian cookies which are delicious. Love love love this place!!! If you are in Rome, have to go and experience! :-). (BTW, I didn’t see fat people in Rome though they eat a lot of carbs. What’s wrong with American food system?)

BEST CARBONARA EVER! This restaurant had the BEST carbonara I have ever had. Already tried this dish at many different Italian restaurants but THIS is hands down the most delicious. And it’s all to do with the Guanciale (Pork jaw/cheeks) and the way they prepared/cooked. Perfect!

Very belated review. My wife and I ate here last summer on our first night in Rome. We were worn out, and we didn't want to venture far from our hotel. We wandered in here, and we were well taken care of. The staff were amazing. We opted to share a salad, pizza (we know it's bad manners to share a pizza, you should each get your own, but we were too tired), and a carafe of wine. I'd gladly go back here (which we probably will when we venture back next Spring).

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, great wine. Started with Caprese and bread, quality ingredients. The main was seafood risotto, again quality ingredients and so delicious! I could have 2 plates if I wasn't already stuffed! I ordered house red wine and it was good too, I'm not a huge wine person and I'm not sure what pairs well with the dish but either way I enjoyed it!

We have eaten two marvellous meals at the end of a tiring day, and it become one of the best parts of it!!

Ristorante accogliente dietro Largo Argentina a Roma, Buon cibo e attimo servizio

Sant'Anna, located on a quiet street with the same name, even from the outside looks like a restaurant with some history, and it's exactly that. As we sit and wait for the food to arrive, we're observing hoards of locals of all sizes, shapes and ages to come in, all greeted warmly by the owner, and the experienced waiters moving around between tables like busy bees that know exactly what they're doing. The food is lovely - Roman cuisine is not exactly known for the pizzas but they are great here, delicate yet bursting with distinct, buttery mozarella flavors. The deserts are also magnificent, and perhaps the only thing that wasn't up to our liking was the vino della casa, which simply wasn't our flavor. But it didn't matter one bit. This is the authentic cuisine and warm Italian welcome you come to Italy for, and this is a restaurant that must be preserved, not the tourist traps. Do visit.

Ottima esperienza. Trattoria nel cuore di Roma a pochi passi da Largo Argentina e da Campo de Fiori. Ottima cucina romana, primi molto saporiti (carbonara davvero buona, spaghetto alla spigola delizioso). Servizio veloce e molto accogliente. La trattoria ha il tipico stile delle vecchie osterie romane. Buoni sapori e buon vino. La via del ristorante un angolo di Roma antica. Raccomandato! 💫
