Hotel Dimora Fornillo è un piccolo albergo a tre stelle di sette camere, tipica casa di metà del 1800, restaurata magicamente dai sapienti muratori di Positano che hanno saputo conservarne il fascino delle volte, degli archi e delle cupole.

Esposta a sud-est, dalle terrazze dalle sue camere si apre il meraviglioso scenario della Costiera Amalfitana: a sinistra la stupenda Positano, con le sue case arroccate che degradano verso il mare e poi la costa verso Praiano e Amalfi. a destra la Torre Clavel, un castello arroccato su uno scoglio ricostruito circa un secolo fa dal Conte Clavel.

Una volta fortezza a guardia degli invasioni, oggi dà il benvenuto a chi arriva da Capri.

L’hotel Dimora Fornillo a circa 60 metri d’altezza dal mare, sovrasta la famosa spiaggia del Fornillo, una delle più esclusive spiagge della Costa d’Amalfi.

Dalle 7:30 alle 10:30, nel giardino del melograno, viene servita la colazione a buffet.

La hall ed il bar al piano terra si trovano a livello del giardino che, circondato dalla tipica vegetazione mediterranea, con alberi secolari di olive e carrube; è l’ideale per godervi il sole o prendere un drink durante la giornata, nel caso non desideriate andare in spiaggia.

Amazing stay at Hotel Dimora Fornillo

My stay at Hotel Dimora Fornillo was perfect in every way. The hotel was ideal—conveniently located near the Fornillo beach. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach via stairs. The check-in process was seamless, with warm, professional staff who made me feel instantly welcome. Moreover, staff was incredibly attentive providing help whenever needed. The service was top-notch! My room was cozy and had breathtaking sea view from its terrace. Having breakfast at the hotel’s yard was a highlight. Enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view was truly amazing. The breakfast buffet was simple, but very delicious. I’ll absolutely be back—and recommending it to anyone heading this way.

Loved the Hotel Dimora Fornillo

We loved Hotel Dimora Fornillo. The hotel was adorable and is a perfect spot to take advantage of the beach club. They helped us with reservations to Chic Mama (which was an insanely fun experience). Also it really felt like visiting family because Franco and the staff were so helpful and sweet. The wifi was pretty spotty but honestly not a big deal because it forced you to enjoy the views. Make sure that we pay for the porters to bring your bags to the hotel. The 15 euros per bag sounds like a lot but it will save you a lot of pain.

Beautiful view worth all the steps!

The views from this hotel are amazing. Lot of steps to get there, but there are porters that you can hire to get your baggage to your room. We spent 4 nights in Positano, so there were a lot of steps over the course of our stay. Would probably only stay 3 days if I had it to do over again! The room was just as depicted on the web site. I actually got a bigger balcony room than I was expecting. Breakfast was served at the outdoor area of the hotel. Lovely area. Breakfast was certainly adequate. You can order (for a small fee) other breakfast items like omelets. The reception area had a stocked refrigerator with beer/wine/drinks that you could bring up to your room. 972 Euro for 4 nights. Very affordable.

Stunning Views and Great Service

Had an amazing five night stay at Hotel Dimora Fornillo. The views from the terrace and the garden were absolutely stunning. The easy access to Fornillo beach, the town centre, and many delicious restaurants were a huge benefit. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a place to stay in Positano.

Can’t recommend enough

My boyfriend and I had an amazing trip. Franco was amazing. He carried our luggage for us with all the stairs. Breakfast was so good and not the usual continental breakfast. They took our order and made it. The other staff were all just as friendly and welcoming. I also feel like we had the best view in Positano

Fabulous!

I stayed here for one night with my mam after taking the ferry from Naples. We absolutely loved it! The views were stunning, and the service exceeded our expectations. Franco was incredibly kind and attentive, he made sure we felt truly welcome and completely comfortable throughout our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, which made it even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Treated like family

The owner and staff at Dimora Fornilla made my sister and I feel like family. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and chatted with us every day as we sat out on the beautiful grass terrace for breakfasts. The hotel is beautiful and small - just 7 rooms. Ours was very roomy and had a large balcony overlooking the beach. The staff recommended great restaurants. From this hotel, you can walk down to the beach or into town within minutes. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

Had a great stay at this wonderful hillside hotel. We were fortunate enough to stay in the end unit with a beautiful balcony. Could not get over the views both day and night. The room was large and very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the patio was great . You must be prepared for the steps if you are going to Positano. The hotel is 250 steps up from the beach and another 160 up to the street.

We woke up in paradise

What an incredible hotel. We woke up in paradise with the view which we could share whilst having breakfast! The staff were incredibly tentative and as we first got to the hotel they even made us the best bruschetta after a long day of travelling, when there was no restaurants open. We really did feel at home there. I would like to thank them all for an unforgettable stay is Positano, one I will never forget! Thank you!

Esperienza magnifica grazie di cuore

Weekend in famiglia da sogno!!! Il personale davvero gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa. Siamo stati io,mio marito,nostro figlio e il nostro cagnolino. La camera é grandissima,super accogliente e anche il bagno a differenza di tanti altri hotel é davvero immenso, ho adorato la vasca da bagno che ci ha permesso di lavare il bimbo in tutta comodità. L’ultima mattina ci hanno addirittura portato la colazione in camera. E che dire poi della vista… spettacolare!!!! Grazie per tutto davvero col cuore
