Simply perfect!

If you are visiting Pisa the best place to stay is here! The moment you arrive the staff are so welcoming and friendly with lots of knowledge about the area. The room was perfect 😍 spotlessly clean and loads of space for clothes. Open the doors and look to the right and there is the Leaning Tower!! Stocked fridge with 6 different juices and bottles of water. Air con was fab and not too noisy. Breakfast was superb..lots of choice and all fresh…coffee was amazing 🤩 If your flight is later the staff keep your luggage once you’ve checked out so you can spend another few hours enjoying the town. The location of the hotel is fab as everything is right on your doorstep! The rooftop area is amazing with fantastic views so that’s a must! Booking again for next year! 😍

Lovely character hotel Close to the tower. Our room was clean and comfortable the air conditioning was great. The buffet style break fast was plentiful. Staff very friendly. Can’t fault it and would definitely visit again!!

Sono tornato a Pisa dopo diversi anni e ho trovato una città assai vivace e affollata di turisti. L’hotel in cui ho soggiornato gode indubbiamente di una posizione eccezionale, davvero centralissima e comoda. Tuttavia, al di là della posizione, la struttura avrebbe bisogno di un serio rinnovamento: gli ambienti risultano un po' datati e anche la colazione dovrebbe essere migliorata sia in varietà che in qualità. Con un po’ di attenzione in più ai dettagli e qualche aggiornamento, potrebbe offrire un'esperienza decisamente migliore e in linea con le quattro stelle... Al momento, purtroppo, mi sento di non consigliarlo.

Affordable hotel with great breakfast

This is a great and really affordable hotel, only steps from the tower. The room had air conditioning, very important on hot days. The breakfast buffet is really great. The staff were extremely courteous. The area is very touristy but a few blocks away it is less crowded. And Pisa is a worthwhile destination in its own right. The hotel has a terrace overlooking the tower and church.

Nice hotel in a good location.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The booking in process was easy and the staff very helpful. There are two lifts which we had no problems with. Our rooms were a good size at the front of the hotel. The beds are large and very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size with shower toilet and bidet. We used the roof top bar twice for drinks. Beautiful view of the tower and city. The drinks are a bit expensive and the staff attention could be better. Our second visit took us a long time to be served and they weren’t busy. Transfer from the airport takes 15-20 minutes and costs about €20. We got the hotel transfer on our return which cost €20 and is very efficient. The hotel is situated on a Main Street with lots of cafes and bars. You can walk to the train station in about 20-30 minutes or the hotel transport will take you for €15.

Weekend per festeggiare il nostro 40esimo di matrimonio

Pur capendo che è una struttura retro' e che avrebbe bisogno di un po' di rinnovamento...abbiamo voluto io e mio marito dare 5 stelle perché la posizione è fantastica ...il locale è pulitissimo...il personale gentilissimo....aperitivo e cene al terrazzo con vista piazza dei miracoli...tramonto con sfondo torre pendente....e poi anche il garage...ottimo weekend

Perfect location

Just returned from a few days in Pisa staying at this lovely hotel. We really enjoyed Pisa and staying here was the perfect location. The hotel may be a little dated but we thought that added to it's charm. Like stepping back in time to when things were better made. Everything was comfortable, well made and worked. Beautiful large bed and a bathroom that didn't have a leaky shower! (Makes a nice change) The juliette balcony with view of the tower was a bonus. The breakfast choice was great. Loved the fresh fruit, yoghurts and choice of bread rolls, cheese and meats. There was cereals, cakes, eggs, bacon, sausage which looked good although not what I chose to eat. Really good cup of tea and choice of coffees. The rooftop terrace (for guests only) was amazing. A great place to see the tower and watch the sunset with a drink. The real asset of the hotel is the staff who are all so friendly, hard working, knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to get to Lucca from here from small station ( Pisa San Rossore) near the Piazza Dei Miracoli. Much easier than walking to the Central Station. I hope to return someday.

Great service

Lovely hotel.Our room was very spacious and spotless clean.The staff were very welcoming and friendly .There was a wide choice for breakfast each morning. This hotel also provides a shuttle service to the airport and train station The location is perfect

Lovely 4 night break, beautiful Pisa!!!

We have just returned home after a 4 night break and what a few days we've had. The hotel staff from checking in were lovely. We had read some mixed reviews of the hotel before arriving but our rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The location for the Pisa sights was excellent, everything from the Tower to the cathedral and all museums on your doorstep. We travelled to Florence for the day and walked and walked all over Pisa, restuarants galore on the doorstep too, we would definitely return and stay at this hotel again as we couldn't fault anything, thanks to all at the Duomo Hotel...we will be back.

La sua posizione …….. perdona tutto.

In pieno centro, a due passi da Piazza dei Miracoli, immerso nell’isola pedonale, costituisce un’ottima scelta per il turista. Camere normali, pulite. Eccellente la disponibilità del personale. Niente da segnalare in bene o in male,se non un consiglio: mangiate dovunque, ma non in Hotel

Posizione eccellente con vista sulla torre. La terrazza dell'ultimo piano è spettacolare ma purtroppo la struttura ha bisogno di una bella rinfrescata. La camera sarebbe anche carina ma il bagno assolutamente un disastro... Vasca con tenda ingiallita, rubinetti ossidati ,porta rovinata che non si chiude bene. Gli infissi una sciagura, eravamo al terzo piano ed era come essere insieme agli ubriachi che schiamazzavano durante la notte.Peccato ....

Amazing hotel and views

Amazing! Took us 30mins to walk from airport - lovely pictures taken on the walk and pretty easy to do :) Myself, partner and baby stayed here for 1 night. Staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was a large selection of food (cereals, bread, scrambled egg, bacon, juices) its was delicious! Room was large, well equiped, had its own tower views - was loud at night from nearby restaurants but that is no fault of the hotel - a con of wanting to be so close to the tower but a pro of having amazing views from the balcony and roof terrace, this made it worth it! I would happily stay again! Thank you!

Grand Hotel Duomo situato vicinissimo alla Piazza dei Miracoli sulla Via Santa Maria, camera buona con materasso morbido, personale disponibile, accogliente e gentile, colazione a buffet ottima e abbondante. Bella veduta della città dalla terrazza con bar.

Ho alloggiato con mio figlio in ottobre 2023 per 3 giorni. Molto carina la hall, che offre uno spazio molto ampio riservato ad un'organizzazione nel campo delle imbarcazioni. La concierge veramente ottima, check-in rapido ed efficiente. Gli ascensori sono Kone e sono veloci ed affidabili. La mia camera era la 209, una standard molto spaziosa e molto in linea con lo stile dell'hotel, con uno splendido affaccio sulla Torre Pendente. Il ristorante e la colazione sono di alto livello, davvero soddisfatta per la cena e per le colazioni. Penso di non aver nulla da aggiungere se non... complimenti!

Una vista eccezionale ma una cucina deludente

Ho cenato sulla terrazza dello Hotel Duomo godendo della spettacolare vista notturna della Torre, della Cattedrale e del Battistero. La cena è stata deludente. Come antipasto un anonimo tris di polipo, qualche gambero e un pastiche di pesce. Poi un branzino con patate sottili senza nessuna fragranza e quindi un dolce abbastanza convenzionale. La cosa migliore è stato un ottimo vermentino che ha accompagnato la cena.

Comodità!

La Posizione dell’hotel è eccellente! Praticamente a due passi dalla torre. Nonostante l’hotel si trovi in una zona ztl il personale, cordiale e disponibile, è stato pronto a risolvere il problema potendo così utilizzare la mia auto fino all’ingresso. La camera molto ampia e comoda.

Ottimo in tutto Posizione centralissima, in pratica uscendo ci si trova gia davanti alla torre, più comodo di così è impossibile!!! A discapito di quanto sospettavo, caos ,sia diurno che notturno, praticamente inesistente , ottima insonorizzazione delle stanze!!! Camera pulita, bella, spaziosa e molto carina!!! Personale molto accogliente e preparato a dare informazioni sulla città!!Ristorante interno da vedere, ottimi cibi e costi non troppo esagerati!!! Bello.

erano anni che volevo farmi questo regalo e finalmente lo scorso week end mi sono regalato una notte all'hotel duomo di pisa a 2 passi da piazza dei miracoli. ne sono ancora entusiasta. bella camera, pulita e spaziosa, anche se un pò certosina. cmq il relax è stato totale, pur essendo in una delle vie + centrali di pisa. la cucina del ristorante è ottima e il bar gestito da un uomo squisito di altri tempi merita una menzione speciale. sono della provincia di pisa ed avevo a portata di mano il paradiso e non lo sapevo.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione magnifica, praticamente vicino la torre. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, magari l'arredamento è un pò datato. Però per soggiornare a pisa è consigliato. Ha anche un parcheggio privato che consiglio di prenotare.
