Great place, staff, food and wines!

Excellent evening with friends eating great traditional Tuscan cuisine and some unbelievable wines. Our sommelier and owner Marco were superb and made us feel very special all evening!

Our dinner at Osteria del Pavone was one of the best and truly delightful as I recall. We entered through the charming Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco & got to Osteria del Pavone. Since we didn’t have a reservation at Bianco restaurant the staff guided us thru to Pavone restaurant to a cozy spot at the bar counter. That was incredibly kind and accommodating. I guess they both belonged to the same owner as we were given menus from both the restaurants to order food. Both the restaurants had beautiful decor. One carried a traditional charm & the other a modern tone. We kicked off our meal with complimentary bread & olive oil. We ordered a refreshing Aperol Spritz and a glass of Chianti Classico. For starters, we dove into a creamy burrata topped with freshly shaved truffles and olive oil an intriguing combination of grilled crostini with toasted bread, anchovies, and a flavorful green paste & a sprinkle of olive oil. It was a unique and delicious combo to start with! For our main courses, we enjoyed a show-stopping dish, Chicken breast with pecorino and truffle & this dish was, without a doubt, the best and one of the highlight of our entire trip, & wife ordered wild boar ragu was equally satisfying. Both mains were perfectly complemented by two glasses of Bolgheri red wine. A special shout out to our bartender, who was not only knowledgeable about the menus and wine selections but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our dinner experience even more enjoyable. We thoroughly savored every moment and every bite at Osteria del Pavone/ Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco. I highly recommend this bar & restaurant to anyone traveling to Florence.

Ho cenato con due amici due giorni fa. Servizio lento e cibo mediocre. Abbiamo preso 3 antipasti con polpettine di melanzane ( erano 4 polpettine molto piccole con un cucchiaio di zaztiki), uno spaghetto al pomodoro con un pizzico di burrata, due linguine con vongole assai poco fresche, una bottiglia di Chianti Classico e una bottiglia piccola di acqua minerale. Il conto è stato esageratamente alto : 177 euro. Dovrebbero evitare di spennare i turisti e noi poveri residenti.

One of the best meals that I ate in Florence Italy. The service was fantastic and the selection of wines was phenomenal. The food was amazing and flavorful.

We met Michael who owns both restaurants. The poached egg with truffles and perfectly prepared foie gras was phenomenal. And the buratta with truffles was wow too! Eccezionale!

Randevusuz gidilemeyen bir yer olsa da biz akşam 21:00 e doğru gidip şansımızı denedik ve restaurantın arka kısmında kalan alandaki masalarda bize yer ayarlayabildiler. Çalışanların hepsi çok nazik ve yardımseverdi. Biz dana biftek (straccetti di manzo) ve carpaccio sipariş ettik. Yemekler oldukça lezzetliydi. Tiramisu için ayrı bir parantez açmak lazım çok başarılıydı. Ev yapımı şarapları oldukça lezzetli ve uygun fiyatlı. Tek eksi yönü fiyatlara kişi başı (coperto) servis ücreti eklemeleriydi. Tavsiye ederim.

The highlight of our trip to Italy was the incredible experience and outstanding service we received from Marco and his amazing team. During our stay in Florence, we dined at both Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco and their sister restaurant Osteria del Pavone on both nights—and we couldn't have chosen better. We also enjoyed fantastic cocktails at their charming cocktail bar. From thoughtful wine recommendations to the perfectly cooked Florentine steak and several delightful surprise tastings from Marco, every detail contributed to an unforgettable Italian experience. The kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality of the entire team left a lasting impression. I will absolutely be recommending these wonderful places to anyone visiting Florence!

Tolles Ambiente in einem schnuckeligen Seitengässchen. Das Essen war sehr harmonisch und schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war top.

Really nice upscale restaurant in Oltrano. Beautiful spaces. Service is great ,everyone was super friendly and helpful. The cocktail bar is also a nice plus, nice bartenders as well. The food was delicious , and it was definitely worth seeking it out.
