We had a lovely lunch in the shade next to the most beautiful church on Sicily with the astronomical clock that plays music every half hour. The arancini (meat, rice and cheese balls) and pizza was so delicious! The owners/servers were super attentive and we were in and out in less than an hour. Easy to get back on our cruise ship which was only a couple of blocks away. Highly recommend!

Great little place to grab a bite. They have a variety of options with excellent service to include inside and outside seating options. Afaq took great care of us and ensured we had a good experience. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful lunch at Pizzeria San Giacomo. We walked out of the port from a cruise and it was an extremely easy walk. The location was excellent, and the staff was great. Our waiter was Afaq, and he was attentive and very kind. We are English speakers and he spoke English very well, which was helpful. Within the family, we had the lasagna, carbonara, spinach cannelloni, margarita pizza and diavola pizza. All dishes were prepared well and were very tasty. After walking around Messina for a while, we went back for dessert. Their gelato and sorbet desserts were delicious also. Prices were very reasonable. If given the chance, I would definitely go back again.

Our server Afaq was tentative and very friendly, the food was great and the recommendations he made were lovely. The food came out very quick and the drinks we ordered were great

We wanted to wait for the Bell Tower 12:00 pm performance, so we chose to spend some time at this quaint little establishment close by. I ordered the Hazelnut coffee with a ricotta cannoli and my husband ordered a cafe with a pistaccio cannoli. All i can say is WOW! I generally would never order a cannoli but decided to give it a try since we were in Messina Italy. The cannoli was absolutely fantastic. Stop by for a quick snack or a full meal. You won't regret the visit. Friendly staff and quick service.

Quaint little restaurant near Bell Tower

We wanted to wait for the Bell Tower 12:00 pm performance, so we chose to spend some time at this quaint little establishment close by. Nice cafè in good location. We stopped for a coffee and something sweet. Cappuccino and ginseng drink were really lovely. Cannoli with a pistacchio filling was delicious, as for tiramisu it wasn’t exactly what I expected but it was good. Service was top notch, friendly people👌🏻

Great food, me and my wife had great Gluten Free Pasta dishes at very reasonable prices and very good portion sizes, my daughter had a pizza (not gluten free) which she loved, the Lady owner did not speak English but she had staff that could speak perfect English but she made the effect to try and speak to us and my daughter to make us feel very welcome.

I had Lasagna and some stuffed eggplant rolls. This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Flavor was on point.

Great little trattoria. We had the spaghetti and clams, and the tagliatelle bolognese. Very reasonable and huge portions. Highly recommended.

Beautiful family restaurant with amazing hospitality. Will be back in the future.

La Norma non c'è più

ristorante senza testa ne coda solo il cameriere stranierol gentile per il resto meglio se chiude. Ti fanno aspettare più di un'ora per poi dirti che non possono fare il piatto esposto nel menù senza avvertire minimamente il cliente.

Mangiare bene e stare bene divinamente

Colazione super ottima, e persone squisitissime e simpaticissime. Super centrali. Facile da raggiungere. Il caffè migliore di Messina!!!!!
