A lovely restaurant in a small town

We visited this restaurant twice in the week when we stayed at Colleoli and on both occasions enjoyed excellent food and hospitality. The menu was varied but of a size denoting everything on offer was prepared on site. Steaks are cooked over an open wood fire and are delicious (and large). I was slightly surprised by the ‘suckling pig’ which was more like a pork steak but beautifully tender covered in a delicious sauce. Both the house white and red wines were good. Didn’t have enough room left for puddings but those on show looked delicious. I would return to this delightful restaurant on any visit to the area. If possible I would choose to eat outside as eating in we found a little warm - turned up unannounced first time and all the fans were taken. However the internal dining room was beautiful as indeed is the whole building. Finally, I would point out that the serving staff are lovely and a great credit to lady who heads up the whole operation.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr feiner Hauswein! Wenn man Glück hat oder wie wir vorher reserviert, bekommt man einen der ausgewählten Tischen draußen mit wunderschönem Ausblick!

This place was amazing, the food was so good (recommend something from the wooden grill) and the staff was SO nice and accommodating. We had two children and the staff was quick to whip up something simple for them! We ended up going back for seconds while on our stay in Palaia because of how good the experience was. The first time we sat inside and the second time the restaurant was full so we sat outside. The outside seating had the most beautiful view, but might not be ideal if you are prone to mosquito bites 😅

Abbiamo cenato questa sera in questo ristorante che ci è stato consigliato dal b&b in cui siamo ospiti. La location e’ splendida, il servizio è stato eccellente così come lo stile nell’apparecchiatura della tavola e tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato era buonissimo e ben curato . I prezzi , per noi che abitiamo sul lago di Garda, sono nella norma. La signora che ci ha accolto ci ha chiamato per assicurarsi che stessimo trovando parcheggio e a fine cena ci ha offerto i dolci. Per noi consigliatissimo e sicuramente torneremo se programmeremo un’altra vacanza in zona.. Grazie e ancora complimenti per la vostra professionalità.

Siamo stati ieri sera a cena al Bacciomeo. Location molto di atmosfera, sala affrescata con un grandissimo lampadario Veniamo al cibo: antipasto toscano ottimo e abbondante, ci si mangia in tre! Salumi di qualità, buoni i crostini Preso poi il coniglio fritto e faraona e oca ripiene: ben fatti, il top la faraona per me. Rapporto prezzo qualità ai massimi livelli in zona. Ovviamente non è una trattoria economica, ma un ambiente molto curato ed elegante, il cliente è seguito bene e la cucina è di alto livello, senza porzioncine minuscole. I prezzi sono adeguati alla qualità di ciò che si mangia. Non c'è parcheggio vicino, ci sono da fare circa 500m a piedi da un ampio parcheggio.

Ambiente splendido e molto curato. Ciò che abbiamo mangiato mi è piaciuto, le porzioni sono un pochino da cucina gourmet, ma la mano dello chef è decisamente ottima. Prezzo medio per la Toscana: abbiamo preso due primi, una porzione di funghi fritti, due dolci, acqua, un calice di vino, spendendo una sessantina di euro. Personale cortese e veloce.

A little gem of a place, once you find it you will keep going back.

The food was excellent, the wine good & the beer / water was reasonable priced - the service was spot on. Booking is strongly advised & this can be done via WhatsApp on their website. It is best to park in the free car park opposite the archway, do not be put off by the first restaurant / cafe, Bacciomeo is situated in the main house at the end of the drive. We will go back to Palaia just to visit here, it was that good.

A wonderful restaurant nestled in a cozy town. We enjoyed our experience and found the food to be vibrant, the staff to be welcoming (we have a 1 year old baby), and the space to be clean and cozy. We had delicious pasta and a very flavourful duck breast. I would recommend this to all those coming to Palaia!

Am coming back - epitome of La Dolce Vice

One of the most memorable meals of my life. Definitely going back. We had 9 (yes nine!!!!) courses. The best bit was the service with their hearts in it which you only get in Italy. You felt the people working there enjoyed their job and from the bottom of their hearts, regardless of money, they wanted the diners to enjoy themselves. Then there's the context. The massive murals and chandeliers - tasteful and in context. You feel you have walked across France (or Tuscany!) and been invited to eat with the King and Queen in their Palace. And of course, finally, the food. They produced a different wine for many of the courses - and we could slosh back as much as we wanted. We were there on New Years Eve, and the whole four hours passed in a flash with ever more courses. I have often worked away from home and I am 69 so I have sadly/happily spent many evenings in restaurants over the world away from family. This was one of (if not the!) the very very best. The evening was rounded off with trips outside the restaurant to enjoy the New Year fireworks. We went for long country walks the next couple of days (it's in a lovely area) but I failed to walk off the wonderful meal - that took the whole of January. I didn't have to eat 9 courses after all. But I would do it again - defo!

Ambiente curatissimo in un bellissimo palazzo finemente ristrutturato. Accoglienza eccellente come i buonissimi piatti che abbiamo gustato. Consigliatissimo

Ristorante elegante, consiglio il coniglio fritto,veramente buono e i pici al ragù bianco.

Location classica

Location molto carina con arredamento classico, il locale è piccolo ma accogliente. Il cibo è buono e siamo stati bene.

Nikdy jsem si nemyslela, že budu mít z návštěvy restaurace takový zážitek. Milujeme historická místa a tato restaurace pro nás byla naprosto nádherná. Není to žádná snobárna, nikdo si na nic nehraje. Personál je neuvěřitelně přátelský a jídlo naprosto výborné v poměru cena/výkon. Dali jsme si skvělou lahev červeného vína, chobotnici a steak. Servírka přišla ukázat, zda vyhovuje hmotnost, než nám ho přinesla. Steaky dělá majitel, úžasný pán a steaky má výborné. Paní majitelka poté všechny hosty obešla a zeptala se, jak chutnalo. Pauline nás obsluhovala celou dobu s obrovskou profesionalitou a přátelskostí a dokonce pomáhala i překládat vlídná slova od paní majitelky, jelikož anglicky neuměla. Nechápali jsme, že takové místo v dnešní době ještě existuje...Navíc nám přišlo, že každý host byl VIP klient, ke kterému se chovali s maximální péčí a ochotou..no nemáme slov :)) tolik přátelství a lásky za tak příjemnou cenu, určitě se musíme ještě někdy vrátit, na takovou restauraci nikdy nezapomeneme! Děkujeme, že jste naše líbánky udělali takto krásné.

Abbiamo cenato presso il ristorante all esterno .....piatti preparati con cura e ingredienti selezionati d qualità. Personale simpatiche gentili e super brave . Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e siamo stati bene , come ultima cena a Palaia direi che abbiamo concluso molto Bene . Conto appropriato a quello che abbiamo mangiato e bevuto
