Worth the walk

After a hot walk through the Ercolano ruins, and a fairly steep climb up the Main Street, A Modo Nostro was a lovely oasis of food and drink. The windows were open to catch the breeze and the staff served a lovely toasted salmon sandwich, beautiful fillet of fish with lemon butter sauce and a cool refreshing Aperol Spritz.

Great atmosphere, staff are friendly and helpful. We had a Napoli pizza for lunch, which was great tasting with some excellent cocktails, coming back for an evening meal.

Safe for celiacs

As far as I can tell, there are no AIC accredited restaurants in Ercolano. The cheerful manager at A Modo Nostro Bistrot, however, responded knowledgeably and confidently when I told him that I have celiac disease. We had to do some nuanced negotiating in broken English, but the meal was quite good and I did not get sick.

Our very enjoyable lunch experience.

Lovely restaurant with a warm inviting relaxed atmosphere. Superb food and portion size just right. A special thank you to Anna for her friendly welcome. We had carbonara and ravioli with shrimps. Both were excellent and we would highly recommend this establishment. We found the location very convenient. We hope to return one day.

Lekker Italiaans

Hannah en haar mooie glimlach heeft ons overhaald hier te eten en het was heel lekker, we namen de pizza Italiana en de pasta Pomodore .

Fantástico

Three of us visited Herculean and one waited here! When we rocked up Anna welcomed us very enthusiastically! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch great atmosphere & lovely Italian food. She's a great host 🥰

Wonderful spot

Lovely spot. Waiting on the train from Ercolano and stumbles across for a quick lunch. Anna was a wonderful hostess and the food was excellent. The service was 100%. Perfect spot. Thank you.

100% restaurant for service , food and atmospheres

Best restaurant we’ve been to on our holiday! The pizzas arrived promptly and were delicious. Anna was a fabulous hostess who made our stressful day so much better. Not only did she ensure our order arrived quickly, she gave us advice about the local area and all with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were amazing and super efficient too!! We will most certainly be back. Very convenient if you’re catching the Versuvius express bus ! (I would highly recommend a drink before and /or lunch after your mountain adventure.

Highly recommend this restaurant.

Anna welcomed us in! Well worth it! We stopped there for coffee and a pastry on the walk down to our Herculaneum Tour and then again for lunch after the tour. Great food and great service.

Piatti della tradizione e ottime materie prime!

Di ritorno dagli scavi di Ercolano, stanchi ma felici, il proprietario ci ha accolto, aiutandoci col parcheggio e consigliandoci un ottimo " Pignatiello" e dei ravioli alla NERANO con sugo di pesce fantastici. Buono il vino della casa e ottimo il servizio.Grazie!

Abbiamo scoperto questo locale per caso ed è stato entusiasmante cenare, il proprietario eccellente,piatti buonissimi e impiattamento da 5 stelle. Ci siamo stati nella serata del 27 agosto. Nel prossimo viaggio sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Grazie mille

Siamo stati io e mia moglie abbiamo mangiato una pizza fritta ,eccezionale,ed un piatto di tortelli con gamberi e zucchine alla neranoche dire buonissimo,poi il proprietario Gianfranco è una persona molto cordiale Consiglio vivamente

Turisti, state alla larga

Che scena pietosa! La proprietaria che aumenta il prezzo fisso per me che sono turista e poi non sa come uscire da questa figuraccia quando glielo faccio notare in un italiano che non si aspettava io parlassi... Dovete fallire. Poi il marito a scusarsi. Too late, Sir. La figura da imbroglioni che si credono furbi era già fatta.

Ottimo cibo e servizio

Il cibo è ottimo. Abbiamo preso gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare e alla carbonara ed erano ottimi: cottura della pasta eccellente. Anche la pizza era buonissima e l'antipasto Frittura Italia era delizioso. Il servizio è stato accurato e velocissimo. Super consigliato!
