We wish to inform you that PagineBianche publishes the data of subscribers to the fixed and mobile telephone services, as entered in the single database by the individual telephone operators, in conformity with the provisions of the Communications Watchdog and Privacy Watchdog, and with the regulations on Universal Service.
If you are not present on PagineBianche because:
- you asked to keep your number private;
- you changed telephone operator and did not notify your data to the new one;
thanks to the above-mentioned provisions, by filling in the form made available by the telephone operators you can ask to appear on PagineBianche, deciding not to be contacted by mail and/or telephone for commercial purposes.
In fact, two special symbols (an envelope and a receiver) are placed next to subscribers who have consented to the use of their address and/or telephone number (by crossing the boxes on the form made available by the telephone operators).
Also, following an express request by means of the above-mentioned form, subscribers can ask to be found in the online directories and subscriber information services (e.g. www.paginebianche.it and 12.40 Pronto PagineBianche) even starting from their own telephone number.
Please contact your telephone operator to update your methods of entering in the single database and therefore on PagineBianche. You can also visit the site www.paginebianche.it for further information, and the site of the Privacy Watchdog www.garanteprivacy.it to report any improper use regarding your data entered in the directory. Information note in accordance with art.13 of Leg. Decree no. 196/03 The single database, which Seat Pagine Gialle S.p.A. has access to following a transfer contract stipulated with one of the authorised telephone operators, is supplied (in accordance with the Communications Watchdog) by all fixed and mobile telephone service operators who signed a special memorandum of understanding, in conformity with the consent expressed by each subscriber to their respective operators in reply to the form prepared by the same. Subscribers who have not returned the duly filled in form to their telephone operator, or who have not subsequently expressed a different wish, will continue to be published as before.
The data relevant to publication free of charge in the electronic directory is processed, even in electronic form, for the purpose of its publication by Seat, as an independent Processor - through its persons in charge and appointees, in the context of their duties - in conformity with the provisions of the Privacy Law and the Data Protection Watchdog dated 15/7/2004. Subscribers entered in the single database, as the parties relevant to the processing, can exercise the rights under art. 7 of Leg. Decree 196/03, including the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of their personal data and its communication in an intelligible form, know the processing methods and logic, request its updating and integration, deletion or conversion into an anonymous form, in case of breach of law, and object to its processing. Such rights can be exercised by contacting their own telephone operator in writing, as the sole competent processor - in accordance with deliberations no. 36/02/CONS and no. 180/02/CONS of the Communications Watchdog - and carry out any kind of operation on the data.
Seat Pagine Gialle S.p.A., publisher of PagineBianche.it, towards whom the parties concerned can exercise such rights regarding the processing carried out by the same, is not entitled to carry out any operation on the data, for the above-mentioned reason, unless after its receipt in the context of the single database. Once made inside the single database, the relevant deletions or modifications will therefore be carried out in the electronic directory.
